Skol303
A great deal on at the moment over at 'Spitfire Audio' for the Albion Library.
Cheers for the heads up! I'm sorely tempted by this... hmmm.
keefbaker
No way in a million years could I live without Fabfilter Pro-Q2. When I want to use EQ, it's my Go-To. Also pretty much everything by Valhalla as they are the kings of algorithmic reverb. As for synths. Diva is king.
lowdown
Agree with the Valhalla room verb. Best $50 I have spent. Also you can grab their Freq Echo for free, also very good. https://valhalladsp.com/shop/delay/valhalla-freq-echo/
51m0n
I like free, it has to be something I really need that I can't do any other way. I have a vast vast library of fx but some standouts are:- Rea plugins are fantastic come with Reaper or can be had as a vst pack IIRC Tokyo Dawn feedback compressor Bootsy's Variety of Sound plugins are all good, Density iii, Nasty DLA and the Thrillseekers plus his Baxter eq are exceptional not forgetting FerricTDS and Tesla pro. I use sone these all the time ever mix every master Molot by Vladg on drums in parallel mainly very useful! Samplicity convolution reverb samples are beautiful If you need to priduce DDPs for mastering then Hofa plugins standalone DDP mastering softeare is tge best value for money solution i have found.
