Clarky Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 (edited) Had them on my fretless bass for a week and decided I preferred ordinary La Bella flats. Home use only. Consequently in very good, nearly as-new condition. New cost me £40 from BassDirect including post. How's about 25% off, so £30 posted within UK? PS, its the larger diameter 760N set, which is 60/70/94/115 http://www.bassdirec...ylon_wound.html Edited November 12, 2014 by Clarky
Clarky Posted November 5, 2014 Author Posted November 5, 2014 Now £27 posted These really look very close to new (almost perfect silks etc) and probably only have a couple of hours play on them
smaz Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 How do they feel to the fingers? Have you played the Rotosound black nylons? I tried them but thought they felt a bit too plastic-y for my linking. But I love the La Bellas on that JV...
Clarky Posted November 6, 2014 Author Posted November 6, 2014 Hi Gareth, TBH I think these will feel fairly similar to you to the Rotos (but smaller gauge). In my experience, all black nylons feel plasticky to begin with and mellow with age. The exception is Pyramid Black Nylons which have a sort of textured, almost cloth like surface. I am guessing these wouldn't be your cup of tea!
Clarky Posted November 8, 2014 Author Posted November 8, 2014 £27 to you door bump, saving you £13 for the tiniest amount of use
