Apeneck Sweeney Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I'm trying to find copies of Hal Robinson's books, Boardwalkin' and Strokin'. The only place I've found them online is Robertsons in the US. Does anyone know of a UK seller? Quote
Hector Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I've got a copy of Boardwalkin' that I ordered direct from Robertson's. They were the only distributor I could find. Happy to answer any questions you might have about the book's content Quote
Apeneck Sweeney Posted November 4, 2014 Author Posted November 4, 2014 Thanks Hector. I got the impression that the book dealt with application of Rabbath's 3 octave scales from his 3rd book. I have Rabbath's first three books. I'm not sure whether they cover the same ground and if I need both. I've read good reviews/recommendations on talkbass. Can you remember roughly how much the shipping from Robertson's was? Quote
Apeneck Sweeney Posted November 8, 2014 Author Posted November 8, 2014 I've heard back from Robinson's and, as I feared, the shipping is very expensive. They've found a slightly cheaper rate than the initial quote but it's still almost as much as the books. Quote
