BigRedX Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 I've just bought some velcro strip for attaching my non-rackable units to a rack tray. I don't suppose it matters which part gets attached to the unit and which to the tray, but is there an accepted way of doing it? Quote

BigRedX Posted November 5, 2014 Author Posted November 5, 2014 Thanks! All done except the Sony Receiver is just too tall once the velcro is attached. :-( Quote
Skybone Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Another vote for "Fluffy to tray, spiky to pedal". Main reason for me, is that the spiky side collects dirt & other assorted crud like a magnet, where the fluffy side doesn't. This means that you can swap and change pedals around as you like, and not loose any adhesion (for want of a better word) on the board. If it was spiky side down, you will loose adhesion on the strip because it gets clogged up with crud very quickly. Quote
paulbuzz Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Also, you can annoy other family members by attaching pedals to the carpet in your house. Quote
