yorks5stringer
Hendrix's Band of Gypsies never toured to Chesterfield. They did release an EP with "Go Now", "Peg" and "Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves" and "Ironic" on it. This was given away last weekend as the free CD with The Sunday Mail. yorks5stringer
Seasick Steve travels to all his Tour dates by train. However in an effort to cure himself, he is actually rowing across the Atlantic to his USA dates. This is not going too well as due to his metal Dobro confusing the compass and his percussive rowing action he is going around in circles and is currently 400 miles off the Azores. His new collaboration with Boxcar Willy (working title Steve's-Willy) features "Beat It" and "The Boat that I Row" Edited December 2, 2014 by yorks5stringer

pfretrock
Lemmy always had trouble finding decent quality gardening tools, it was always a bit of a gamble. Then one day he found a Hollywood garden centre was selling high quality stainless steel garden tools. He made his purchase, declaring it to be the ace of spades. She wanted to hyphenate their names and it would have been Nick and Roseanne Lowe-Cash! Mind Nick Cash wouldn't have been great either... yorks5stringer
Gladys Knight was in the process of forming her backing band and was auditioning singers. One of them mis-harmonised and she muttered "These guys are the pits". She later relented, but when speaking to her Management they misheard the new bands name and advertised her next appearance as "Gladys Knight and The Pips". The rest is, as they say, history....
