Industrial noisemakers Whitehouse aren't industrial noisemakers at all. A blown circuit board in the engineers desk meant there first album, which was years in the writing and months in the making turned out like so much white noise.
Angered by this, they decreed that all their recorded output should be thus.

Booker T and the MG's don't actually own an MG between them since Donald "Duck" Dunn sold his MG GT in 1982 when rust took hold of the inner wings.

The Small Faces were ardent Coronation Street fans and based a tribute album on the Stan and Hilda Ogden characters. Both were heavy smokers and "Ogdens Nut Gone" referred to the time they ran out of baccy and Dev's and Freshco's were closed.
