yorks5stringer
60's Heart throb and Housewife's favourite, Val Doonican got bored of sitting on a rocking chair singing "Paddy McGinty's Goat" and "Walk Tall" on Saturday Night at the London Palladium. He formed a new band and named it "The Cardigans" after his favoured item of knitwear. They rejected his choice for a new single "Delaney's Donkey" so he retired to relative anonymity in Spain. pfretrock
Bono decided to liven up his otherwise dull studio album by inviting a guest guitarist to the sessions.
