RoRi Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Finally he released his first CD yesterday. Support the artist and buy his album: http://billdickens.bandcamp.com Quote
RoRi Posted November 6, 2014 Author Posted November 6, 2014 Probably the funky people will like this (?). (this cd: 71 minutes of great music!!). Quote
Cosmo Valdemar Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 I think he needs a new nickname. Quote
Bilbo Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I have never been impressed by this guy. Doesn't seem very 'together' as a player to me. Lots of 'wicketty woo' but not a great deal of content. Please signpost me to anything that proves me wrong. Quote
Conan Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 (edited) It's OK - kind of a mutant offspring of Victor Wooten, Stanley Clarke and Larry Graham, but with less taste than any of those players. But maybe I'm not one of the funky people... Edited November 10, 2014 by Conan Quote

chris_b Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 This is all very cleaver stuff, but he always sounds to me like he needs to hire a bass player for the band. Quote

I'm glad the drummer's bang-on to keep him right. Quote

I've checked out his videos online and it isn't happening for me. I think it sounds a bit better than it looks, but still lacks anything ...so not a page I go back to, tbh. Quote

Some isn't and I hear nothing of any depth in this guy's work. It's an opinion. Ignore it if you wish. It is worthless. Quote
