I have never been impressed by this guy. Doesn't seem very 'together' as a player to me. Lots of 'wicketty woo' but not a great deal of content. Please signpost me to anything that proves me wrong.

It's OK - kind of a mutant offspring of Victor Wooten, Stanley Clarke and Larry Graham, but with less taste than any of those players.

But maybe I'm not one of the funky people...

He sounds like he's in a bit of a hurry to get to the end of the track. I'm glad the drummer's bang-on to keep him right.

Got to agree with this... I've checked out his videos online and it isn't happening for me.
I think it sounds a bit better than it looks, but still lacks anything ...so not a page I go back to, tbh.

To argue about taste is senseless. Some people like to listen to modern music and others still like to listen to Deep Purple, Mud and Status Quo. That's okay by me.

I have never subscribed to the idea that there it's all good. Some isn't and I hear nothing of any depth in this guy's work. It's an opinion. Ignore it if you wish. It is worthless.
