bassman84 Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 How much would cost this beauty? It's a squier jazz bass MIJ JV series. Painting is not original neither the PG neither the knobs, all the rest is 100% original. Quote
bassman84 Posted November 5, 2014 Author Posted November 5, 2014 (edited) I think that's much less it should cost... http://www.mercatinomusicale.com/mm/a_squier-by-fender-jv-1983-jazz-bass_id3657898.html http://www.ebay.com/itm/1984-SQUIER-by-FENDER-JAZZ-BASS-JV-SERIES-JAPAN-/121472742320?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_77&hash=item1c4856f3b0 Edited November 5, 2014 by bassman84 Quote

HowieBass Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Not sure why you're asking if you've already spotted similar instruments that have sold successfully elsewhere? The usual answer to this is it's worth whatever anyone is prepared to pay for it. You can hold out for whatever price you care to invent for an instrument and it'll be worth that when someobody actually pays what you're asking; however you might have a long wait. You could use those prices you've found for insurance purposes though. Quote
stingrayPete1977 Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Anything refinished and with non original parts will be worth less than an all original bass, unless its that Damien Hirst Jazz bass. Quote
bassman84 Posted November 5, 2014 Author Posted November 5, 2014 Thanks to everyone. Thing is, I know the price of these basses all around the world but I won't ask 1000 euros for a refinished bass. I just want to know how cheaper it is because of the refinishing. 300 euros is unreal, but I think something around 600/800 euros would be right, or am I wrong? Quote
