Delberthot
Just a quick plug for a couple of basses I am selling just now. warwickhunt
The green bass is of interest Does that knock that it has taken affect the body structurally as it looks like it's right on the edge and might have weakened it! ... saying that if it has it would make the bass fecked and you'd not likely be trying to sell it on here Do you have any more close-ups of the damage and the bass in general? If ONLY I had the money, I'd have that off you quicker than you can say superpseudoantidisestablishmentarianismistic (or that welsh train station...)! Delberthot
the damage that was done in transit was done right at the binding so that's why it looks worse than it is. This is one heavy duty bass. It feels as solid as really solid thing. Some people tune the octave strings differently. Someone actually tuned one as a 3 octave bass so you had the fundamental, the octave and then another octave above that but it sounded terrible, the highest octave strings were too thin and kept snapping and intonation was a mile out as a bridge with 12 individual saddles doesn't exist. I believe that the green one is made in the same factory as the Waterstone Tom Petersson bass as it is very close in most respects.
simondee
Amazing. I'd just play the whole of the first Pearl Jam album all day with one of these.
simwells
Are these straight forward to play finger style or are they better suited to a plec? The red one's gorgeus, very tempting but I can't justify it.
Delberthot
Most 12 string guys use a plectrum but I have always played fingerstyle.

We discussed the Tennessee basses - he was quite flattered that his TP12 model was being copied and confirmed 100% that the Tennessee basses were not coming out of his Korean manufacturing plant. The plant could barely keep up with demand for Waterstone let alone any other maker. P
Delberthot
And the green one has gone. The other 12 and the acoustic finish tomorrow and I am still taking offers on them.
