geoham Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 So, I had planned on replacing my Ashdown Mag 210t cab with something a bit lighter. After much to and fro, I 'settled' on a TC Electronic BC212. Was about to order it, and the wife suggested checking Gumtree for any local bargains before parting with my cash. I'm now the proud owner of a BC500 head and two BC210 cabs! £400 including fitted Roqsolid covers. Nice modular setup, though think I'll probably gig both cabs - until the novelty wears off! Happy days indeed! Quote
FuNkShUi Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Never used any TC stuff, but that sounds like a bargain to me!! Nice one. Let us know how you like them after a few gigs! Quote
Mr Anthony Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 (edited) Considering that exact rig bought new today would set you back £500+, I'd say you didn't do bad. I got the BH500 when it came out and it was well over £300 back then, and I'm still using it now. It's a great amp! Enjoy! Edited November 14, 2014 by Mr Anthony Quote
gsgbass Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 (edited) Wow! Way to go. Congrats man. I really think you're going to like the TC setup. I used two BC212 cabs with a RH450 head. The BC212 cabs really kick. Have fun man. Edited November 15, 2014 by gsgbass Quote
Leslie77s Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Good on you! always nice to hear someone has new gear to mess around with. Nothing better! Quote
geoham Posted November 15, 2014 Author Posted November 15, 2014 Can't wait until I get a chance to gig it - just a pity I'll need to wait until mid December when I have three gigs in six days! Quote
