squier vm jazz fretless

Hello folks looking to pick up a cheap but half decent fretless for taking abroad. Saw one of these for £180. Potentially some give on the price. Not clapped eyes on it but apparently in good nick. Is it worth it?

I've got a Squier VM series bass, and it's great!
Haven't got one for sale, but I'll vouch for the quality and value for money of one of these basses

mine was fretted, and I converted it to fretless with a Squier VM fretless neck - both necks have been great
and the bass worked well in both guises

You see them going second hand for reasonable money

Tried one of these the other day - fretless - and was really impressed by sound and playability. Go for it, seems to be a good instrument. You might discuss on the price, in Germany they sell for 300 Euros new ...

I'd say that's a pretty good price IMHO
You may want to look around - I have seen one or two a little cheaper
But that's still a great instrument for that price....

I went to see it. The bass was in cash converters it wasn't in bad nick but I just got a bit of a bad vibe so decided against it.

maybe the bass had been mucked about with, by someone who doesn't know what they're doing
.... or was the bad vibe from the Cash converters staff?

Give another one of these basses a try
