ped Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Very nice indeed, and somehow it looks all very co-ordinated. That Dean bass looks superb too, is it one piece? The headstock looks really good on that body. Quote
ped Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 It looks as though it might be from here, the grain seems to be continuous all over the body. Either way, it is obviously doing its job! ped Quote
silverfoxnik Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Very nice & compact set up!! The Peavey bass looks really good - how does it sound? I've always liked that P/J pick up configuration... Quote
Stan_da_man Posted August 4, 2008 Author Posted August 4, 2008 It sounds pretty good I think. Very good rock tone. Quote

Stan_da_man Posted December 23, 2008 Author Posted December 23, 2008 My mini rig for smaller gigs: Status Graphite Energy 4 Peavey Tour 450 Schroeder Mini 12L Quote
Stan_da_man Posted February 28, 2009 Author Posted February 28, 2009 My Omni rig of doom! (Sorry about the crud quality!) Peavey Tour 450 > Omni 10 or Omni 10.5 I can't actually use both cabs together has the Omni 10.5 is 8 ohm and the Omni 10 is 4 ohm, though it is useful for gigs - Omni 10.5 for smaller gigs with PA, Omni 10 for bigger gigs with no PA. BFM cabs rule. Quote

ped Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Cool rig, I tried an almost identical rig at the SEBB and it was superb, really suited me! Quote
EdwardHimself Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Hey there i like the Dean bass, i was thinking of getting a dean bass at one time. How do you like the zodiac bass? Quote
budget bassist Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 (edited) I've been wanting one of those sledgehammers for a while too, they look pretty damn cool. I've wondered about those peaveys too, if dave ellefson plays them then they must be fairly decent right? Edited March 14, 2009 by budget bassist Quote
Stan_da_man Posted March 14, 2009 Author Posted March 14, 2009 Yeah the Sledge Hammer is a very good bass but not a lot of places are now selling it in the UK...I actually traded my Dean for the Steinberger! The Zodiac DE is a great bass. I've had it a year now and it's never let me down - the Bassline pups are really good too. I need to put up a pic of my MIJ Tokai P that I got in January, so pics soon! Stan_da_man Posted April 22, 2009 Author Posted April 22, 2009 Got it today - just wow! It's an Overwater Perception and after my Status (which I sold to get this) it's my second properly pro instrument. Quote
OutToPlayJazz Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 Nice one, Stan - How does it compare to yoour old Energy? Quote

I can get pretty close to my Energy sound but the EQ on this beats the Energy by miles! The pups are so powerful that they start distorting at 2 on the gain - in contrast my Energy started distorting at 4.5! Quote
Stan_da_man Posted January 14, 2010 Author Posted January 14, 2010 Update, my two main basses atm taken with the crappest camera in the world: Iceni Zoot and Sadowsky Jazz copy. Quote
