The stock version tends to over-compress the bottom end making it too fierce for bass and leaving a somewhat wimpy sound. I have made a number of modifications which allow more bass through. Oh yes indeed! I have also added an eye-popping white LED to reassure you that this is no ornery pedal on which you are stomping. The paintwork on the metal enclosure is in very good condition. The label on the rubber base is a bit crinkly where I once removed it to fit pedalboard velcro. As you might expect, it works off a PP3 battery or a standard Boss-type power supply (neither included.
