thebassist Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Can anyone recommend a 5 or 6 string, 24 fret jazz style bass up to £1500? Quote
fabioduartebass Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Hello. I don't know if it is 24 frets.. But a Xotic bass is a good option!! The best jazz basses!! (link below) http://xotic.us/guitars/xj1_5st/xj1_5st.html Quote
eude Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 ACG are doing a new series called "Standard", a 5 string 25 fret J Type for £1100, and a 6 string for £1175 >> Specs here >> http://www.acguitars.co.uk/acg_admin/wordpress/standard-basses/standard-specification/ Quite a bit of customisation on offer, and completely hand made Well worth a look I reckon. Bass_Guardian Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 (edited) Status Trace Elliot T-Bass I've got one and its a brilliant bass. 24 frets, 34" inch scale 5 stringer. Good price nowadays aswell. Retailed around £1400 new back in the late 90's i believe but can pick them up for around £600 nowadays. http://www.statii.com/status_cats/reviews/12/index.html Edited November 17, 2014 by Bass_Guardian Quote
