Can anyone recommend a 5 or 6 string, 24 fret jazz style bass up to £1500?

I've played quite a few ACG J Type 5ers and they were very nice indeed, as an owner of an ACG 6 string, I can confirm that ACG make very good 6ers too
Definitely worth investigating I reckon.

Status Trace Elliot T-Bass I've got one and its a brilliant bass. 24 frets, 34" inch scale 5 stringer.

Good price nowadays aswell. Retailed around £1400 new back in the late 90's i believe but can pick them up for around £600 nowadays.
