Kenny Gair
Hey! Just a quick question about home rehearsal. Sometimes it's a right royal pain in buttocks having to wire up a rig to settle down for a quick weedle on my bass. Have any of you got any experience of the topic title, or similar interfaces for rehearsal/swift recording to iPad/Mac/PC? Inexpensive and good are the two key words All the best! kyboo
I use Reaper with bass cabinets from RedWirez. I could not be happier. I used to use commercial VST plugins for tube emulation, etc. but at the end I realised I don't need them for practicing, they just distract. Also, Reaper comes with powerful EQ and compressors.
kyboo
I can create a Reaper project template for bass guitars if anyone wants to avoid initial learning curve of how to use Reaper. Edited November 20, 2014 by kyboo
Kenny Gair
What do you use to interface it? Thanks for the reply by the way!
kyboo
I have an active bass so I plug in straight into line-in of my onboard sound card.
