Corvine
Hi, anyone used one of these? http://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/RedSub-BEQ-2-7-Band-Bass-Equalizer-Pedal/H4W I was wondering how the sound quality compares to the Boss 7 band bass eq. Are these worth getting as a cheaper alternative, or is it better to spend the extra money and get a boss? Don't seem to be many reviews of them out there! Corvine
Thanks, ok iI'll take a look at those too. Just been a bit wary of false economy after trying out a Behringer BDI21 next to my SansAmp BDDI. Had read a few different things saying that they were identical except for the cheaper plastic casing of the Behringer, but to my ears there was an obvious difference in volume and sound quality. Never sure whether clone actually means clone! Guess it's not too much money so worth taking a gamble with though.

Corvine
Yeh, i think they're a pretty decent bit of kit considering the price, only if you're expecting it to sound exactly like the Sans amp equivalent then you'll probably be disappointed. [/quote] Yep, that blind test over on Talkbass found that to copy the BDDI set flat the BDI21 had to have the treble and presence up higher...
