wateroftyne Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Hi all Just popped up on Lakland's FB page. The PJ with blocks is a beauty. Quote
Raslee Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 That PJ is gorgeous....hmmm, best get saving Quote
Sibob Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 The Antique White 44-01 looks great too! Si Quote

NJE Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 (edited) Oh dear, that PJ could be dangerous to the bank balance. I have been looking for a PJ Precision with a chunky neck for a while, I just hope its not a J profile neck as they have put blocks and binding on it. Edit: just realised it is in fact a J taper neck, what a shame, too slim for me. Edited November 21, 2014 by NJE Quote

Byo Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 To be honest, the Skylines look better than the US models... Quote
I agree with this - I really like the DJ's too, nice they've brought back that colour combo! The 44-64 p/j is a beauty though, isn't it? Edited November 21, 2014 by Big Bass Man Quote
MikanHannille Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Would love that white on a 55-02! Quote
krispn Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 The dual J looks like the old scheff model could yield some nice tones with the pick up placement Quote
Jono Bolton Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 I like the 44-64 US Classic. Am I the only one that doesn't like block necks? I think they look a bit tacky. IMO, of course. Quote
Those are the "14" models though remember, they are the same as normal USA models but in a limited range of colours and no options to keep the prices down, saves about five hundred quid on the 55 14 against the 55 94 which is the USA version of the 55 02, confused yet?! Markolinni Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 The DJ5 and the 55-02 for this table please That DJ5 colors is one of my favorite (simple and yet perfect) jazz finishes "marks", and the 55-02 is (to me) the best alternative burst, along wth the Tobacco burst, to the 3TSB that i don't like.. its to mehh.. (my opinion). Quote
White Cloud Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Fantastic...I love Lakland Skyline basses. The PJ is a winner in my view. Quote

If you popped in a couple of Kent Armstrong lipsticks then would it be a Scheff without a preamp? Edited November 22, 2014 by EssentialTension Quote
bubinga5 Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Is Dan out of the building process now.? Quote

Sean Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 That natural DJ is the same as what was the ACDJ a few years back which was a limited run of 30. I had one and it was fitted with Chisonic pickups, sounded great but was heavy. Quote
leroydiamond Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 I have real GAS for a USA Darryl Jones Quote
