rohan Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 (edited) Hi guys, Pretty gutted I'm going to have to let this go, but we are touring in October and I need to cut the size of my rig. It's the rig in my pic edit:(except for my old Profet head) but I will try and organize some better pics asap. Collection from Newport, South Wales. £500 ONO Edited August 26, 2008 by rohan

tayste_2000 Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 What are the impedances available on the cab?
rohan Posted August 6, 2008 Author Posted August 6, 2008 i'll check for sure on Sunday but I think it's 3 + 6 but works as 4 + 8 as it's marked as "High" and "Low"
tayste_2000 Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Ah that's a bit iffy for what I want to use it with (Old tube head 7.5 and 15 so 6 is a little out of the range) Cheers anyway
rohan Posted August 6, 2008 Author Posted August 6, 2008 I'll see if i can find some more details for you now dude.
rohan Posted August 6, 2008 Author Posted August 6, 2008 "It has several possibilities. You can use it full-range, that way one input will feed all speakers. A build in 300hz highpass filter will keep low frequenties from going to the 2 x 10". In full-range mode you can switch impedance to 6 ohm or 3 ohm. This is tricky 'cause it's mentioned as 'high impedance' and 'low impedance'. As some of you may know, many bassamps don't allow impedance below 4 ohm, so it's a mistake not to mention the figures. You can also use it Bi-amp and that's exactly what it's made for ! One speakon will be high in at 8 ohm and the other is low in at 4 ohm or 16 ohm switchable with the high/low switch. There's also a chrome 3/4" horn in the upper cab with a attentuator at the back."
rohan Posted August 6, 2008 Author Posted August 6, 2008 But I'd honestly suggest a purchase of both, as they are recommended to be used together and you can make full use of the biamping malarky.

rohan Posted August 7, 2008 Author Posted August 7, 2008 I wouldn't be suprised MB1 it's built like a tank.
simondee Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 these are seriously amazing rigs and much, much, much better than the current Warwick amp line IMO.
rohan Posted August 7, 2008 Author Posted August 7, 2008 Cheers Simon! Open for trades for a more compact rig!
rohan Posted August 7, 2008 Author Posted August 7, 2008 Had some interest in the head, so if anyone is interested in the cab on its own, let me know!
rohan Posted August 7, 2008 Author Posted August 7, 2008 Cheapest new price i can find for the head is £1099
rohan Posted August 13, 2008 Author Posted August 13, 2008 Have lightweight rigs taken over the world?
rohan Posted August 22, 2008 Author Posted August 22, 2008 Bump for price edit - being withdrawn at the end of next week if not sold at this ridiculous price!
warwickhunt Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 £400 for the amp and cab... that is a serious bit of kit for very little money! I had one of the amps and I'm sure I sold it for not much less than you want for the amp AND cab.
