I gave it a listen; I shan't do it again. Too many weaknesses, and I prefer singing to shouting. Sounds very thin, and if you're going for an 'under 3 minute' song, there's not much call for a bass solo. Sorry, I'd give it a miss. Nice try, and good luck to the fellows, of course. Not keen; the weakest link for me is the vocals. I'm sure Michigan Avenue do just fine entertaining the punters in a pub but I wouldn't make a special trip to see them. I notice they're from your area bubinga5, are you connected with them?

[/quote] i think its a really good thing to cross genres.. i will inject some funk into that sound.

I'd say the drummer and particularly the vocalist are bigger issues than the bass player. There isn't a player around that will make the singer's shouting sound good :(

A more dominant bass player could do something with it I suppose but I Agree with the comments on the vox and lyrics...

If you have the time give it a go and see if you can bring it to life a bit ;)

well. terrible guitar sound. thinkabout shouter. drums and bass have to melt together somewhen...
better than just drinking in a pub, ey? ;)
