[/quote] Have a look at the Fusion F1 I think it has a better back pack setup than the Mono. I use both and they both do an excellent job. CamdenRob Posted November 24, 2014 Share Posted November 24, 2014 I have been using the M80 for a year or so now for lugging my bass from gig to gig around London's public transport system and it's taken everything I can throw at it... knocks, drops, rain and the rest, not a scratch on any of my basses. Very comfortable for walking around too and as it sits lower than your average gigbag on your back its not as much of an issue getting through doors etc. (although I'm 6'1" so it might be an issue for others as has been mentioned) Only thing I will say it is it pretty heavy and bulky... As BRX says, not especially comfy to use on your back but I really only carry it to and from the car. I also have a single Harvest case. Now that IS comfy to carry. Paul Galbraith Posted November 24, 2014 Share Posted November 24, 2014 I've been thinking about getting a Dual Mono case for a while... as I've found it's worth taking a back up bass for some rehearsals / gigs... am not a gear junky in live situations, in fact I hate lugging about more gear than necessary One thing I am curious about that you current Mono users could tell me about is : when the case is strapped on your back, does the bass neck stick up about 2-3ft about head head (assuming your somewhere between 5ft 7" - 6ft tall)... so if you don't pay enough attention when walking under a door you risk the neck hitting the top of the door frame ? It's so annoying to have to take your bass off / or duck when you need to go through a door way, but then again I can see why cases are designed like this for distributing the weight across your body.
