1976fenderhead Posted February 26, 2015 Share Posted February 26, 2015 (edited) Had seen that video when it came out, also saw them yesterday in Brixton and had seen them before, can't remember where in London. Yesterday confirmed my first impression: it doesn't work live. I'm a big fan of DFA1979 but in studio only. It sounds like sh*t live. Both times I went with people who didn't know them well and felt sorry for them, if you don't know the songs you can't make out most of what the hell he's playing on stage.
