Cameronj279
I've only ever used the MXR Bass Comp but I love it and have no desire to change it.

Defo
About the most personal choice you can make, not one for someone else to tell you. Try them out. I use a Multicomp by the way
Guest BeardyBob
Hey hey, I 'blindly upgraded' to an MXR M87... I liked the thought of the features & read some good reviews... and I don't use it. I personally found it introduced way too many variables & I'd faff around looking for perfecting instead of enjoying things. I'd recommend thinking about/sharing what you want from it & what sort of features you could compromise on. I ended up upgrading pick-ups so it sounded good when I dig in
thebassist
I bought a Markbass Compressore in the end - waiting for it to arrive now... I'll have a good play around but I've been experimenting with using light finger plucking while also using an EBow so I feel like I definitely need some sort of compressor/limiter to prevent the EBow sounds overbearing the finger plucked loops... only time will tell once it's here
vailbass
why do you want to use a compressor pedal?
