alembic1989 Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 ive been thinking a long time about buying one of these...they look great, and built well. I bet it sounds wicked with flats. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/291305832924?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Quote
Happy Jack Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 Hmmmm ... don't think so. You can see the 'built down to a price' thing colliding with the 'now we can add loads of switches and functions' thing to create an over-spec'd mess that doesn't really work. Quote
alembic1989 Posted November 26, 2014 Author Posted November 26, 2014 I dunno Jack, there's a pretty good review ... http://www.mylespaul.com/forums/other-single-cuts/302865-revelation-les-paul-bass-copy.html Quote
BigRedX Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 If I was still playing 4-string basses I'd be checking this out. I do wonder how close to the original Gibson Triumph and Recording basses it actually sounds, given that IIRC it doesn't have the low-impedance pickups. At least it's got a proper set neck. Quote
