chrisanthony1211
I've got through plenty of bass amps and combo's over the years, and my current orange Terror bass combo is one of my favourites, power, size, weight, volume (coolness!) boxes all well and truly ticked, however if I intended to design a handle that was extremely uncomfortable and would cut into my hands after only a couple of seconds like a piece of cheese wire, then this rather slim strip of plastic is what I would have designed, I challenge you to find a more uncomfortable and badly designed piece of cheese wire strapped to the top of your amp! Merton
You mean it's not a Barefaced handle? Wow!

Qlank
Every single cab for bass has it wrong. All of them. Design the perfect box to put amazing sounding speakers in and then put the handles in upside down. Just to make it awkward. It's not just me, surely ? chrismuzz
The only handles I like are the recessed ones you get in the markbass cabs but they wouldn't be practical in a micro head!
chrisanthony1211
There are loads of really nice inexpensive soft leather handles on eBay, why do they design combos with top spec components to create the killer sound and lightweight components to increase the portability of the thing just to ruin it with a crap cheap handle! It really would not hit the profit margin...surely...

chrismuzz
This design is bloody brilliant though
chrisanthony1211
Yep, that looks like the answer !
JTUK
The best ones are the sprung loaded on the side. I'd prefer recessed handles rather than a strap but Berg recessed straps work well. Straps that sit proud aren't any good for the light weight class D generally... but really a decent strap and its position is basic design. None of my cabs have a problem... It isn't rocket science. JapanAxe
Not bass kit, but the original Sampson-era Matchless combos had hideous rigid handles like these: Edited November 29, 2014 by JapanAxe
