I'm reporting you for posting pornography on this website :P
The LX-4 is m dream bass. Even more so in the black cherry finish. Nice purchase dude, i hope you really enjoy it!
Thank you, Sir. Heh-heh. You said 'pornography'... It's technically a Euro, not a EuroLX because it has solid maple body wings; the LX body has an alder back and a maple front with a thin slice of walnut in between. It also has an output trim pot on the Tonepump. But yes, it IS very dreamy and I'm enjoying it more than any bass I've owned in 40 years! So maybe there was a purpose to all this GAS! Problem is I've got GAS for a USA hand-crafted NS-4 now!!

Woo! Thanks for posting *GAS!!* :gas:

Thing is, I've noticed that virtually NONE of the Spector YouTube vids ever feature that big Spector bottom end... why not?

Incredible value for money - only 4 Euro!

Sounds luvverly, too. I remember for dinner parties (how 60s-tastic!) my mum used to do a whole salmon on a platter covered in something that resembled the gloss finish on that bass.

hah! Royalty - not quite. :) Just for showing off - all 'fur coat and no knickers'.
My mum used to say, 'Red hat - no knickers'. Ever since then I've regarded women wearing red hats with special interest...

Was that when she was helping you choose your outfit for the day? :)

I'd heard same but 'red shoes'. Either way there must be a lot of ladies around who aren't wearing knickers. Presumably those wearing fur coats, red shoes and matching hat.

You'd hope so, wouldn't you? Very difficult to tell though, in winter...

I google "arsepic" and got bombarded with Kim kardashian's "arse pic"!
Oh my God! That must have been horrible for you. :o Seriously.

FYI, I think you will find it is spelled "aspic". Having no clue what it was, and not wanting to feel stupid, I google "arsepic" and got bombarded with Kim kardashian's "arse pic"!

Glad to be of service :hi:

OK, just for the record... after a couple of rehearsals got cancelled for various tedious reasons, I finally got to play the Euro last night with the band for four or five hours. I won't go off on a gushing rant as usual, but suffice it to say that the bass is a good 'un and sounds really excellent in a band context. Having so much tonal control at your fingertips is about how it should be, I reckon! :)

If you were thinking about a Spector, I'd recommend you get the best you can afford, say goodbye to any doubt about your 'tone' and say hello to easy, comfortable playability, excellent build quality, superlative design and rejoice safe in the knowledge that you did the right thing! Dammit, that was nearly a gushing rant... I thank you. :)

Have you dumped the Korean ones now? I have to say this one looks thinner and more sculpted. Lovely!
Well... I didn't dump them as such, but I did move them on so I could afford this Euro4!

The Koreans were great, nothing wrong with them at all, but I got Czech-built Spector GAS pretty damn quick! And now of course I've got USA-built Spector GAS, but there's not much I can do about it at the moment. ;)
