Looking through here, I wonder whether this might look better with a black scratch plate or even tort! What do others think?

That is very nice looking, gert lush, as they say in certain parts; it looks even better than shops' website photos.

To be honest as soon as I saw it I had to have it, even though it was £300 more than the Squier PB which in reality was all I needed as a first timer. Its got to feel good though, hasn't it? 😉

I would have said stuck with it but seeing the Jazz above with the white pearl pickguard has changed my mind! Personally I wouldn’t go with a black one but it’s not my bass!!
