BassTractor Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 For me, it's mostly about Vivid and Time's Up as well as about Vernon Reid. Without his, IMNTHO, extremely musical shredding, the band would be some sort of 24-7 Spyz, and far less interesting to me. The gig I attended in Oslo in '93 still stands as one of the best gigs (for me) I've been to. That said, Stain, Collideøscope and The Chair in the Doorway each provided me with some joy, but far from as much as the two aforementioned, and I'll probably not buy Shade. Quote
Deep Thought Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 (edited)
I recall really liking them 20 years ago, and seeing them once, possibly at The Astoria (?) Off to tinterweb to remind myself....
I'm im a similar boat, I saw them in London Muzz-era, damned if I can remember which venue. Fairly sure I saw them at a festival too, possibly WOMAD at Clevedon but not sure. Amazing both times as I recall although it's a long time ago now. Edited December 12, 2014 by Deep Thought Quote
