Well after nearly 2 years i finally have a new bass day to report.

I only went to costa to see a friend and grab a coffee and ended up purchasing a gorgeous black Musicman Stingray. Im absolutely in love and asking myself why i didn't buy one any sooner I'm in love with the neck on it, the feel and size is perfect as its not quite a p bass but not a jazz either.

Im with SRP, Total classic.

I have one the same, saved every penny when i was 18-19 for it. Had it 13 yrs now a real keeper.

Besides the solid construction and good balance you now have a nice active e.q. to fiddle with for a variety of top tones! My Ray 34 is now my favourite . Play On!

i absolutely love the bass, put some fresh new strings on it last night and can hardly put it down, starting to wonder why its taken me so long to buy one

I've owned, lent, gigged or tried loads of great basses including some real high end stuff but I'm always happiest with some form of Stingray.

i have major GAS for a black and maple Stingray and this isn't helping, what a gorgeous bass!
