Always loved Boz Scaggs and don't feel his contribution to popular music in the 70's was fully recognised, he was a musicians musician and worth checking out his back catalogue. Great album and Boz Scaggs first after leaving the Steve Miller Band. My brother bought this on it's release and we probably wore it out over the next few years in our house. Still have a copy in my collection though. A Muscle Shoals classic.

I also recommend his new (not new now, but latest) album Memphis.

Stripped back bluesy stuff that's very well worth listening to.

I could never pinpoint why i liked his music but he seemed to have a knack of not getting in the way of it, if that makes sence just very easy listening, and you always want to return to it again and again.

There's a great Boz Scaggs 2-CD anthology that came out in 1997 with a load of good stuff on it including the track in the OP, had it for several years.

Well worth picking up.

I love the 'Slow Dancer' album, really surprisingly soulful, and full of cracking tracks.
