The youtube clip is part of a DVD entitled 'Marvin Gaye. The RealThing. In Performance 1964-1981' The DVD is a must for all Motown and Marvin fans and of course those who want to hear a good dose of Jamerson.

Super stuff - I was feeling the vibe after about 5 seconds. Jamersons lines are beautifully understated, and that Precision thump is wonderful.

I woke up at 3 in the morning with the laptop on my stomach. Very soothing for a chronic insomniac.

People forget that Marvin started life as one of The Funk Brothers. It's him playing drums on Please Mr Postman.
