FEND3R
Having a bit of a clearance and two Duck Dunns seem more than necessary, so I am selling one of them. I originally imported this one from Japan, so it’s the Japanese market version. The interesting thing is that it’s one of the last ones from the production line – serial # 253 – so far I have not seen a later serial. Everything on the bass is completely original. It has some wear – few dings on the lower side of the body, few bumps on its upper side and a black mark on upper side of the headstock (I have tried to show everything in the photos). Other than that the electronics, truss rod, hardware and everything else works perfectly. The bass plays sweet with a nice action, no dead spots, currently strung with roundwounds, with minimal to none fret wear. Sometime ago I tried to make a review of the two Dunns, but it turned out sloppy (please excuse my playing and the video and sound quality), but You can get the idea (the one for sale is the second one in the video) : https://www.youtube....eature=youtu.be More hi-res photos of the bass can be found here: https://plus.google....=CK6UrvntsaGZSw The bass did cost me 780 Pounds to purchase and import from Japan, so I am after £ 760 including shipping to UK and most of the EU (if You are outside UK, please ask me and I will calculate the differences in shipping and give You a precise end price). I know it is not cheap, but provided its scarcity and quality, if it does not sell for that price I’m keeping it. It will be shipped in the original gig bag it was sold in when new packed in cardboard and bubble wrap. I will ship from Bulgaria so there will be no import taxes for EU buyers. I suppose that PayPal is best as payment method, although it sets me back around £40 with all the transfer and withdraw fees. I have positive feedback which can be found here : http://basschat.co.u..._1#entry2610067 Feel free to ask me any additional questions or demand additional photos. Delivery usually takes a week to the UK and most of EU. Trade wise I would be interested only in goldtop Epiphone Jack Casady, Fullerton RI precisions (‘57 or ‘62),or other rosewood board vintage or vinatege reissue precisions – either a straight swap or with cash both ends. wateroftyne
I used to have #0221, and I loved it! What's the weight?
FEND3R
It is definitely on the lighter side - around the 8 lbs mark, but unfortunately I don't have scales, I will get one later today or tomorrow and will measure the exact weight. FEND3R
I used to have #0221, and I loved it! What's the weight?
And measured - just under 4 kg (or 8.8 lbs) - my mistake, but still not heavy. Width at nut - 42 mm. Also please, have in mind, that the neck is a bit of a vintage C shape - deep and thick, which may not suit all. Regards Tsvetan
