Both are very good sounding amps. But only "one-tone-wonders"... The DB680 is the more versatile and the better sounding amp!!!
three Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 I can concur on the quality here - a very versatile pre. I sold mine when I realised that after years of trying and experimenting, I don't actually much like valve tone/pres! I went the Millennia route and use the SS side only. If you do like valve tone, I doubt you'd find a finer pre than the 680.
