Shipping from the US

I've been searching for a Peavey PRO210 to compliment my BAM210 for a while now but, as of yet, haven't found one in the UK. Recently one came up for sale in the US on eBay. The seller wanted the equivalent of £169 pounds for it. I asked him if he'd be prepared to ship to the UK. He said he would and would get a cost for me. He replied the following day to say that he'd had two quotes, UPS wanted $544 and Fedex $572 (about £350-£360). I think I'll keep looking in the UK

That sounds crazy expensive for shipping that over here.

I know this isn't exactly the same cab but the shipping looks a lot more reasonable.
