Japhet Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Mate of mine was very tight with Mac. By all accounts he was a great bloke. Quote
NJE Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Very sad, my dad grew up with him and they were inseparable for many years and through various bands, he even got mentioned in Mac's book. My aunt was in touch with him and I had been pushing my dad to contact him, very sadly it is too late now. RIP Mac. Quote
Sean Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 (edited) Top bloke. Was a member of the Stones' touring band in the 80s. RIP. casapete Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 So very sad, a lovely bloke. Saw him a few years ago at The Boardwalk in Sheffield with his Bump Band, a great evening of music and stories. His Hammond (and piano) playing were always top notch, and perfectly complemented The Faces in particular. First Bobby Keys and now Mac, what a great shame. Quote
