I'm curious to know what the nut width (and neck dimensions in general) are for the bolt-on series, assuming that there's a standard set of dimensions for a specific series. Anyone know?
If you're having one made specifically for you Jon will make the neck to your own specs. However, I have no idea about the specs on his 'stock' items, you'd have to ask him.

Finally got around to taking some pics of my basses (for insurance purposes and fun :)). Anyway, this one's not anywhere near as exotic as some of the beauties on this thread, but it's definitely brightly coloured :)

Thought i best update my Shuker collection having recently welcomed another into the pack..

So here we have :

Singlecut 6 - Commissioned by Eude.. this thing is a lovely 33" Bass, very comfy with a very direct sound, can be loud in the mix without killing other instruments..

Jazz 5 - My 21st Birthday present from my parents, Upgraded to an East Preamp, sounds killer, the East really has made this the most versatile bass i own.

Artist Pro 6 - Wow, this thing i mad, sounds like a double bass and weighs nothing! crazy. Had a bit of a game getting the action where i wanted, but thats what you sacrifice for a piezo bridge i guess!

If I ever have reason to go fretless in the future then this is the bass I'm going for! Got lots of admiration for Shuker basses :)

Right I think I should put this here:

Say hello to my Jon Shuker Jazz 5

Video first - slight volume problem, but I can't be bothered to deal with it until later.

Spanish Joint by D'Angelo - I know that the timing is iffy at the start, due to my inability to lock into the rhythm! There is also some dodgy soloing around 4mins in. Don't judge me, I can't solo :haha:

has anyone got a really traditional fendery looking Shuker?
I guess the JJB basses fit in to that category - but there's loads on the shukerguitars.co.uk galleries.
