YehItsRyan Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 I currently have a squier jag VM, im looking to replace the neck on it with a short scale neck either from a short scale jag or mustang. However if I can come across a good quality short scale neck that will fit I would take it. I'm looking for places on where to find such a thing as a good short scale neck and where I can get it actually done round about the Glasgow, Ayrshire area. Quote
brensabre79 Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 I'd just look for a short scale Jag bass to be honest. And sell the long scale one. You can't just swap to a short scale neck because the bridge will be in the wrong place. So the hassle of converting the body would probably make it not worth it, not to mention it'll make a bit of a mess where the bridge currently is... Quote

YehItsRyan Posted December 13, 2014 Author Posted December 13, 2014 Cheers for the advice guys. I've just bought a gretsch g2224 and I'll keep the jag the way it is. Quote
Bass_Guardian Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Should post a NBD thread in the Bass Guitars section with pics! Quote
