bonzodog
Thought 400 quid was a bit low for a neil armstrong autograph
Diablo
What's with the bumper car fetish? How strange.
I know what I want for xmas now! I guess the valuation on that J was a bit low, but not far off. How could it ever be worth £20k...? Even completely original early 60's minters are £10k tops maybe. Cheers, Rich
cameltoe
Nice it didn't sell. I genuinely have no idea how someone could consider selling an instrument they've had for that long, and with so much history, while they've still got a roof over their head. dave_bass5
I work in Hatton Garden and see them filming this quite a bit. We are just a few doors down from them. Nothing more to add really :-)
Donnyboy
I saw it too - interesting programme , Posh Pawn, thought the chap was looking for a tad much at £20-30K!! Maybe intentionally priced it too high? There have been a couple of guitar /bass related items I think - some bloke trying to flog signed guitars that turned out to be fakes? taunton-hobbit
I missed the first episode & deliberately caught up the next night (on a bit of the prog) - they seemed very keen on keeping his name as just 'Dave' I recall they stated that he played one gig with the Rolling Stones - said in a tone that implied said group were some sort of deity......I thought 20k was a joke, but there you go...........
