Mwoit
STRAIGHT TO PICS And one for fan fret lovers.
Made in Canada 2 piece Swamp Ash body Green to Blue burst Wenge neck and fretboard Banjo Frets Triple Dingwall pickups (FD-3 4L) Scale Length: 37", 36.25", 35.5", 34.75", 34" and 33.25"
I intended on picking up a back up to my maple neck ABZ6, but I figured why bother getting a back up when I can have 2 insane basses. Mwoit
How do the two compare in sound? edit: nice color and love wenge's grain
I've not had time to try out the green ABZ6 through an amp yet. Rehearsal will be later next month. The quick spins I've had with my home rig have been good, the new strings are definitely better than my lacklustre strings on my blue ABZ6! kusee pee
After owning a shed load of basses over the past 20 years I've recently come to Dingwall and they're great. Beautiful looking collection you've got there!
Mwoit
What's the little round fella on the back for?
Horizontal positioning is as important as vertical. If you're feeling wrist strain when playing the lower frets, shift the bass to the right slightly. A countersunk strap lock pin can be installed on the back of the body that will make it hang on the strap naturally about 1-1/2" to the right. ... According to Sheldon himself.
