birthday's kit and surprises

[size=4]tldr explaination - i [/size]didn't[size=4] buy anything ... and my birthday passed quietly with me treating myself to a nice Trace expansion cab off these very forums , from - sbrag[/size]

[size=4]This arrived today , while i was out at work and then rehearsal so i [/size]don't [size=4]get home till 11 .
I was met at the door to help unload stuff from the car by my better half and I headed into the living room ready to savage the delivery box, b[/size][size=4]ehind was a suspicious black hiscox hardcase .[/size]

[size=4]I pick it up and its heavy .... inside is [/size]

[size=4]The original sale photo's will have to make do until i take some of my own [/size]

It seems my incredibly brilliant other half has essentially bought me the perfect bass - Im in love with it, [size=4]sounds great , looks amazing and feels like a cross between a T-bird and P with enough tonal variance to emulate anything i want.[/size]

I'd been Gas'ing over the status but was put off by the distance it would come and the fact i'd never even seen a status before .

Thanks to Matski for selling / talking to my partner about the bass and to sbrag for selling me the extra trace cab that its going to ... RUIN

It most certainly is , its taken pride of place in on my fave stand and my eyes wander far too often possibly the most handsome bass I've ever laid my eyes on.

its gone of for a bit of spa treatment to Charlie Chandler's a moderately famed Luthier who i'm fortunate lives nearby. for a bit of TLC , the action was a little low for my taste and[/size][size=4] rather than tinkering it myself i thought i'd treat it to a full setup as[/size][size=4] she deserves a nice a party frock for the gig on [/size]Friday[size=4]. [/size]

Matski , works a lot better if you start it that way when people search for your name in the feedback forum its just there plus its a good tag on for a signature , let me know if you do .

Used this bass for Christmas gig on Friday sounded massive , loads of muddy dark , i'm surprised that i actually prefer the passive sound to the active but this may just be to the way i EQ my amp.

I even had venue staff asking what it was , a real players Telebass , now i wonder what it would sound like with flats :-D
