Anyone else seen this?

It's Contrabass conversations Gary Carr interview w/ video. The last 20 mins is him playing around on his bass. Fantastic stuff!

I've had email conversations with him in the distant past. He's very very approachable and extremely gracious, I think this guy is a living treasure - and I don't even play double bass. He's lost a bit of weight since I last saw pics of him too.

and he says in the vid that he practices with a metronome. I'd love to get him and Jeff Berlin in a room together to debate this. I have a feeling Jeff wouldn't have a leg to stand on given Gary Karr's pedigree. Gary even says he wants "he loved slow" on his gravestone (72:18)! LOL Showdown!

I saw Gary Karr play when I lived in Whitehaven, probably 20 years ago. What a fabulous player and thoroughly nice chap too.
