I have to test mor next days... Quote
NancyJohnson Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 My guitarist uses a Bugera set up. It's very good for metal \m/ P Quote
LukeFRC Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 review... and a gut shot too would be awesome! Quote
Dood Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Just reading about the amp, it appears to have a parallel compressor circuit on board! Wow!! That's a great add and if it works like the kit I use, it's sure to be a winner! Great idea finally seen on a bass amp! Quote
Bo Millward Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 This looks very cool, we'll have to see what price they hit the shelves at come the 7th of Jan. X Quote

LukeFRC Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 which isn't to say this isn't a great bit of kit - just after playing a few rebel heads with their power management I'm kinda weary of this kinda stuff. Quote
Geddys nose Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 I'm after a new lightweight head, These look great do you know the street price? Quote
disssa Posted December 13, 2014 Author Posted December 13, 2014 Sweetwater calls 399$ for the Veyron M and 499$ for the Veyron T. I think the prices in Germany will be the same, but only in Euro: 399€/499€. What the price will be in UK? Quote
VTypeV4 Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 Did anyone else clock the 'Turbosound' badge on the cab..? I would like to think it's of some significance.. I've used a number of Turbo PA rigs and have to say they were pretty tasty.. Quote
HowieBass Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 The Music Group company, chaired by Mr Uli Behringer owns (fairly obviously) Behringer as well as Bugera and Turbosound. Maybe not such a surprise then about the similarity noted since Behringer themselves like to create products which closely resemble other manufacturers. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Behringer Quote

[/quote] I thought it was interesting, typically don't see many british designed speakers used in bass stuff Quote
VTypeV4 Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 I was unaware of the Turbo / Behringer connection.. Very interesting indeed.. Turbo always used lots of Fane and Precision Devices components so maybe one of those had a hand in with the speaker side of things? Or maybe Turbo simply desiigned the cab. Who knows. Quote
HowieBass Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 The speakers in the cabinet are designed by Turbosound. I think everything Behringer related is manufactured at their massive site in China. Quote

Martin E Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 A 2,000 watt head and a 1,000 watt 2 x10 cabinet? Are these good old British Imperial watts or plastic Chinese ones? Quote
HowieBass Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 You'd hope that'd be peak, if it's genuinely RMS f**k knows what it'd be peaking at! Quote
eude Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Cool, I like the look of this! How's the build quality? My experience of Behringer stuff previously hasn't been that positive, but they're built to a price. Also, what's the sound like? Cheers, Eude Quote
