SOLD: Fender Japan Sting Signature 54 P Bass- £550 £575

For sale is a great condition Japanese Fender Sting Signature 54 P Bass from 2001 (first year of manufacture). It does have a few marks and dings which I've tried my best to photograph, but for a 14 year old bass it's in super condition.

It weighs in at just over 8.5lbs with a lovely super-low action. It doesn't come with a gigbag unfortunately, but I'm willing to supply either a Fender SKB case from the recently American Series basses, or an early 80's Fender ABS case for additional cost.

I have modified the input Jack socket and changed the original surround for one with screws, as the original Jack socket had the habit of pulling out! (A common problem with the 51-57 P Basses- original and reissues).

Due to issues faced with couriers this time of year particularly, I'm looking for £550 and would rather the bass was picked up or arrange a meet half-way either from Woking (weekends) or Bristol (weekdays).

It's actually a 2001, sorry. It's the first year of manufacture for these basses, but follows the same Serial Number pattern as early 90's basses.

My confusion, but apparently a common enough mistake with Japanese Serial Numbers
