JTUK Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 We price ourselves out of the market so we don't have to meet up until the new year... Quote
Oneandfive Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Go to the pub on the pretext of discussing what we hope to achieve next year. Get completely hammered and forget what we agreed. Quote

Silvia Bluejay Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Expect an equally Christmassy, albeit electric as opposed to unplugged, performance (filmed by the same non-Santa-hat-wearing camera operator, yours truly, ahem) at the George Inn in Walton on Thames this Saturday... Quote
Deep Thought Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 By not playing again until February-but that's the way it is with us. Quote
Happy Jack Posted December 18, 2014 Author Posted December 18, 2014 Cheers - we had a lot of fun. I was playing a Harley Benton U-bass (the cheap one from Thomann) and running it through a Fishman SA220 which is a brilliant piece of kit. The cajon and Rick's Taylor were unamplified, the Fender acoustic played by Si went through one of those titchy Yamaha things that looks like a transistor radio. The event was recorded by Bluejay on a Canon Powershot SX40, both video and sound. Happy Beltane! Quote
ubit Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 I was working last Christmas but this year we have a gig on Hogmanay, so looking forward to that! Quote
