Kiwi Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Best fretless on the market, no comparisons. Gorgeous sounding. Replacing the Bart pickups with almost anything else will yield yet more articulation and clarity. I'm sticking an East MM pre with mid sweep in mine to provide more control over midrange. Pedulla's also have incredible attention to detail and build quality. Even the neck laminates are book matched and the stainless steel reinforcing bars in the neck allow for super low action.
comno Posted December 18, 2014 Author Posted December 18, 2014 Thanks Kiwi , totally agree. I'm a pedulla lover for long years. One of the best american bass builder for sure.
ezbass Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Wowsers! If I hadn't recently bought a Rob Allen, I'd be all over this. GLTWS. Have a bump for a gorgeous bass.
ziggydolphinboy Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 like mine but i got the earlier one with no mid range :_)
GregB Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 THAT is the bass of my dreams. Someone will be a very happy man/woman. 'Wish that someone was me.
barend Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 With one string less I would have bought it! Very nice one...
comno Posted February 5, 2015 Author Posted February 5, 2015 Put your thumb on the fifth string and play the others four strings ;-)
stickedbass Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Still available? Interested in trading with a WAL MKII 5 fretless?
mr.noisy Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 I would genuinely take a loan to get this after trying one of them at the London Bass Guitar Show. Can't stop thinking about it. The problem is that I am a student, no chance to get a loan. Need to practice harder, get some gigs, earn some money!
Oldman Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I spoke briefly with Mike Pedulla on his stand at the LBG Show as I have been in awe of the Pentabuzz for many years, I was too intimidated to try. This bass is indicative of the superb attention to detail and quality that the marque has maintained over the years. I should sell up my basses and buy the one bass to rule them all...... Bump
comno Posted March 24, 2015 Author Posted March 24, 2015 Thanks all, i will keep the pentabuzz for the moment, i don't play fretless everyday but i love pedulla basses
