EBS_freak Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 Nice score. Given the price you paid for it, is it worth considering getting a refin? Quote

I quite like the mojo'd look though - I'm so precious over my Retroactive I got really pissed off when it got it's first dent earlier this year, so this is kind of the antithesis I guess. But certainly an option in the future is a re-fin, either back in her hometown or by someone else like Sims, Bernie or Jon Shuker. Or Mikey, once he finally has some free time in 2025 (that list is getting longer!) Quote

Mind you, if you are looking to keep it's value (!?) it may be good to get an official Status refin. Edited September 16, 2010 by EBS_freak Quote

Mikey R Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 (edited) Personally, I really like the mojo look - its honest. And the Royal visit was a bit of a non event really. She turned up, shook the CEOs hand then left. Edited September 17, 2010 by Mikey R Quote

EBS_freak Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 Neck ordered. Let jazz bass pimping commence! Quote
Fat Rich Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Ok, last one now I promise! All graphite S2 classic, sounds really warm and plays fantastic! Quote
BassBus Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 That is just beautiful, Rich. Bet you're happy with that. Did you have it in time for the Statii meet? Quote
Fat Rich Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Thanks guys! Absolutely delighted with this bass, thought it would be quite bright and aggressive sounding but it's actually really warm. Sadly it wasn't ready in time for the Statii meet, had a go on Moo's all graphite S2000 to get an idea what to expect! Quote
G-77 Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 here some more pics of my KB#4 taken by Todd at the Statii meet up, Quote
BassBus Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Todd did a great job with all the photos he took. Lovely basses. Remind me what the extra knob is for on the moowood KB. Quote
Chris2112 Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 That Kingbass #4 really is stunning. I was offered it for a sale a few years ago for something ridiculous like £850! That must have been on Bassworld. I'll get a Kingbass one of these days! Quote
G-77 Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 yep the guy who sold me #4 couldnt sell it for what ever reason, i think i paid 750 for it. the extra knob on the moowood is a rather complex led control, giving combinations of front/side bright/dim Quote
Oldman Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Got this 5 weeks ago waited 4 months, worth it. lousy snap does'nt do it justice Quote
BassBus Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 The Streamline is a popular little bass, hope you enjoy playing it. Quote
