I forget who recorded the bass for Christmas Wrapping, but I do remember she was a student of Marcus Miller, which I think you can really hear in her playing.

+1 Fab tune and great bass work. Hardly a great bass line per se but I love the steady bass groove on that Mariya Carey christmas tune. Reckon it's the most even set of repetitive quarter notes on anything.

The bass is a stroll - and the whole thing is kinda knocked together like any band could - but I've often wondered why this isn't more popular annually as a pub rabble-rouser?

Quite agree Stu, this is my fave Christmas song of them all, should have been much bigger than it was.

Gotta say though, that bassline by The Waitresses is a cracker.
