Byo
Hi all, Anybody using the Earthquaker Devices "Bit Commander" octave pedal? If so, what are your thoughts? Cheers, Byron.
Wooks79
I'm pretty sure Joes Pedals site used to have a little disclaimer/warning about it not being too good with tracking bass... I've never used one though, so someone else might have a better idea.
Byo
There is not much info about it on bass out there, or at least a good quality demo. Just thought that The Bit Commander could be a really cool and versatile octave pedal. With -2, -1, +1 and the drive section the combos are plenty. Wooks79
If you want that kind of thing, have a look at the MI Audio Pollyanna as well! That has [color=#282828][font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]-2, -1, +1, and a very unique almost bit crushed type sound. Corvine
I got a bit commander to mess about with but to be honest never got a sound out of it that I thought was usable on bass, just a bit too much messiness. I ended up using a mooer micro lofi machine for that sort of thing. doesn't have any octave options but it's got a nice clean crispy sound on bass. Let me know if you want to try out the bit commander though, could lend or sell you mine as I think I'm unlikely to use it much more.
