JamesBass Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 Anyone got one? They look SPECTACULAR! Quote
cybertect Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 I wouldn't disagree [attachment=179095:1933_Duesenberg_J_Weymann_Speedster_sml.jpg] Quote
kodiakblair Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 I watch a YT video with the Motown model couple of weeks back. Sounded brilliant https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6S_eIvRtRDY Quote
Roland Rock Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 It does look great, and it's a really good demo video. There are some lovely sounds there too. Admittedly I've only listened on my phone, but from that video I'd be slightly concerned that you couldn't get a pure smooth bass tone from it. Even with fingers, flats and neck pickup, there seems to be an inherent 'clicky' brightness with every setting. As I say though, many lovely tones that would be perfect for a variety of styles. Quote

pete.young Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Yes, I've got a Star bass that I bought from Greene King. I don't have any pictures of it, but the forsale thread is here: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/217359-sold-duesenberg-star-bass . I put some Status half-rounds on it and it sounds formidable. Definitely no clickly brightness with the neck pickup and the tone rolled off. Quote
Bolo Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 I played this one at a local shop, lovely warm not mushy sound: [Img] http://www.themusiczoo.com/images/9-09-10/Duesenberg_Mike_Campbell_Bass_101115_a.jpg" class="ipsImage" /> Quote
BrunoBass Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Recently saw this and instant GAS ensued. I've been dreaming of something like this for years, although having seen the price tag a dream it shall remain. Gorgeous... http://www.duesenberg.de/en/bass/triton-bass Quote

The paint job belongs on a souped up Ford Escort! Quote
