Ashdown MAG 300 combo (2x10)

Been offered a combo (2x10 + a 15" ext. cab) for about £130.
Is that a good amp, soundwise?
I was actually thinking of getting a Ampeg PF 350, for the cab I already have, can the Ashdown producere the same power and quality tone?

Maybe not the best rig ever but honest sounding, reliable and loud enough for all situations. I doubt you'd get much more bang for your buck.

You should be pleased with Ashdown. I love Ampeg, and since 2008 I played Ampeg and only Ampeg. But I never menaged to love my PF-350 and ... two weeks ago I bought my first Ashdown I think you might be more pleased with MAG than with PF-350. Plus - it's very simple amp, easy to fix.

Get it anyway, it's a good price. If you don't like it you're not going to lose anything if you want to move it on.

Yep, not overly light but that`s a great bargain there, Good solid dependable rig, big enough for gigging, for £130. - take it.
